A proposal has been made for Dorset's first windfarm at Master Pit near East Stoke.
Did you know?
Six wind turbines at Master Pit could generate enough electricity for up 7,700 homes.

Friends of the Earth's Big Ask campaign is calling on the Government to introduce a strong climate law to reduce the UK's carbon dioxide emissions.
The EU now has a new target to generate 20% of all energy from renewable sources by 2020. The UK can meet its share by harnessing our abundant supplies of wind energy.
Approving projects like the one is vital if we are serious about meeting these targets. Every part of the country must play its part in switching to clean and safe solutions.

Following consultation the developer has offered to reduce the size of the proposal to four turbines.
East Dorset Friends of the Earth are supporting this proposal. They are campaigning for a safe future for everyone in the area.
Please join them in calling on Purbeck District Council to approve the project and help cut carbon dioxide emissions.
