Support Benington Windfarm

A new windfarm is proposed for East Hertfordshire, on land south-east of Aston, and south-west of Benington.

Did you know?

The three turbines will supply the average electricity demand for up to 3,000 homes.

Clean and safe solutions

Friends of the Earth's Big Ask campaign is calling on the Government to introduce a strong climate law to reduce the UK's carbon dioxide emissions. That means switching to clean, green energy solutions.

The EU now has a new target to generate 20% of all energy from renewable sources by 2020.  The UK can meet its share by harnessing our abundant supplies of wind energy.

Approving projects like the one is vital if we are serious about meeting these targets

Let's make it happen

North Herts Friends of the Earth and YES to Benington Wind Farm are supporting this proposal. They are campaigning for a safe future for everyone in the area.

Please join them in calling on East Herts District Council to approve the project and help cut carbon dioxide emissions.

To find out more about the proposal visit the developer's website.
