Wildlife saved at Dibden Bay

A new super-port, proposed by Associated British Ports (ABP), would have destroyed wildlife areas of national and international importance in Dibden Bay.

However, hard work by local Friends of the Earth campaigners alongside other community groups resulted in the Government's decision to reject the project.

In response to the victory, New Forest Friends of the Earth said

"This is a great day for everyone living locally. All the hard work exposing ABP's flawed case has been worthwhile. The local community will be overjoyed that this destructive port will not be built."
