Friends of the Earth Backs Prince Charles over GM Fears

Friends of the Earth welcomed Prince Charles' article in today's Daily Mail, which raises concerns over genetically modified (GM) foods and crops.

FOE Director Charles Secrett said: "Prince Charles has once again set out the fears of most people in this country over GM crops and food. His article puts further pressure on the Government to act. Why does Tony Blair seem more concerned about supporting the biotech industry than about protecting the environment and public health?"
