Partnership Agreement22 March 2011
Sign the Partnership Agreement to become an officially licensed Friends of the Earth EWNI local group or network.
The Agreement contains a set of expectations for how your group/network and staff can best work together and support each other consistently and to a good standard. It aims to build a clearer understanding of the way your group/network and staff can relate to each other, and together make Friends of the Earth EWNI a strong and effective campaigning organisation. The Agreement is entered into when the Friends of the Earth EWNI group or network is set up, and is then renewed annually (see Partnership Agreement renewal page).
There are two versions of the Partnership Agreement:
- for local groups
- for networks
Trade Mark Licence Agreement
In order for the Partnership Agreement to be valid, all local groups and networks must also sign the Trade Mark Licence Agreement. This grants you a licence to campaign under the name of Friends of the Earth EWNI and explains how and when you are permitted to use the name and logo of Friends of the Earth EWNI. It only needs to be filled in when a local group or network first starts, changes its name or when we make changes to the content of the actual Agreement.
Again, there are two versions of the Trade Mark Licence Agreement:
- for local groups
- for networks
There are also some guidance notes for completing it.
Adopting a constitution
We strongly encourage you to adopt a constitution for your local group or network, and have provided a model constitution for you to adapt accordingly.
