One of the clearest messages from local group feedback on Friends of the Earth's future strategic plan is that local perspectives and ideas need to be better incorporated into our big campaigns. The Activist Dialogue Project - being run by Seeds for Change - aims to improve the way local groups participate in campaign planning so that campaigns work well locally as well as nationally and internationally.
Their new blog has been launched this month to coincide with phone conversations and face-to-face meetings now taking place with some local groups. Hopefully the views and ideas gathered will generate exciting approaches that can make Friends of the Earth a more joined up local to global campaigning organisation.
