Guerilla bagging on Camden streets

North London shoppers have recently been treated to free reusable shopping bags courtesy of Camden Friends of the Earth. Anyone on Camden streets willing to give up their plastic bags for good got given a unique material bag handmade by group members.

With slogans like "Knickers to climate sceptics" and "How fantastic, I'm not plastic", the bags have been made out of old clothes, curtains, and cushion covers and challenge people's use of plastic bags by offering a practical solution. The group's action was covered by BBC Breakfast.
