Be a Climate Champion

Friends of the Earth have teamed up with Girlguiding UK to celebrate 100 years of guiding. We've created a special project to help girls and young women Change the World.

Our Be a Climate Champion challenge aims to give young members a voice on environmental issues.

We're asking Brownies, Guides and Senior Section members to trial a selection of green solutions and tell us what they find out:

• Do they work?
• Are they easy?
• Are they impossible?
• What problems did they come up against?

We want to know what's stopping people from being green so that we can put pressure on the Government to help people to live greener lives.

This is a unique opportunity for girls and young women to take direct action on climate change and help to influence change across the UK.

Even young people are trying to do something about climate change - little things make a big difference. But if we could get the Government to do more, it would help us make an even bigger difference.
