Helen Baxendale heading for Copenhagen

Looking forward to seeing Friends and Cold Feet actor Helen Baxendale arriving in Copenhagen later today.

I hear she boarded a Eurostar train in London early this morning (Friday).

Helen's coming to add to the clamour for world leaders to agree a strong and fair agreement at the UN talks.

She's sharing the journey with 100 other Friends of the Earth supporters.

Together they'll be part of the Flood for Climate Justice on Saturday in Copenhagen.

The Flood will be a colourful and peaceful procession through the streets of Copenhagen to Christiansborg Slotsplads (Parliament Square).

As a mother I feel it's important to provide a world which is safe and stable for all children to grow up in - we need world leaders to take action now. Climate change is the most urgent threat facing humankind.

At the end of a week when rich countries have been trying to wriggle out of their commitments, Helen's joining thousands of other to make it clear to political leaders that we want a strong a fair agreement.

And we're not going to shut up about it.
