The Green New Deal is a solution to the triple crunch of

  • unstable fuel prices
  • climate change.

Friends of the Earth is working in coalition with business leaders, farmers, trade unions and community representatives. We're calling on the Assembly to support a Green New Deal.

Investing in an ambitious programme to insulate homes and develop renewable energy could

  • create thousands of new jobs
  • help secure our energy supply
  • build a competitive low-carbon economy.
