Rules and regulations

Which bit of the Earth are you a Friend of? Our one-minute film competition is open to anyone in the world.

The competition opened on 11 June 2008 and closes on 29 August 2008.

Key points

  1. 60 seconds – no more, no less.
  2. Explore the question ‘Which bit of the Earth are you a Friend of?’
  3. Film must be available in broadcast quality.
  4. Films must include our end screen as the final shot.
  5. Contributors must be the sole author(s).
  6. By entering, filmmakers agree to Friends of the Earth showcasing their films during and after the competition
  7. No unlicenced use of copyrighted material.
  8. No rude, unlawful or discriminatory material and no promotion of products or services.
  9. Some prizes are only open to UK residents.
  10. All one-minute films can be entered, regardless of previous screenings and awards, and you can submit more than one film.
