PANTOMIME COW IN COURTROOM FARCE
Daisy the pantomime cow was today (Monday 29 July) found guilty of Aggravated Trespass at Andover Magistrates Court. Both ends pleaded not guilty but were given conditional discharges and ordered to pay 50 costs each. The front end is considering an appeal.
Daisy was arrested on Tuesday 23 January 1996 when, according to the police charge sheet it "did an act, namely dressed as a pantomime cow broke through security cordon towards contractors which you intended to have the effect of disrupting that activity."
Over 300 people have been arrested for Aggravated Trespass on the Newbury bypass.
